“I am in the middle of producing an epic sci-fi adventure film, which is extremely music driven. The amazing soundtrack is being created by extraordinary musicians from all around the world. I needed a composer to create an overture that was half symphonic and half electronic 'driving pulse beat,' ambient in style. I had heard Gareth’s amazing symphonic music on LinkedIn and really liked the emotion and structure in his style. I commissioned him to create what I was needing for the sci-fi soundtrack. Working through a couple of initial rough musical samples, between us we settled on a texture for the theme and then a fantastic iconic signature tune. It's both haunting and exciting with a terrific pace and atmosphere that grabs hold of you and sends you on a journey amongst it's intricately weaving rhythms. The finished piece is truly gorgeous and a piece of music that I could listen to over and over. Gareth is a very likeable character who aims to please. It was a real pleasure to work with him and I'm totally delighted with the result.”

"It's been an absolute pleasure working with such a professional, friendly and skilled composer. Gareth Thomas offered the necessary skills and ideas to give my film a real edge. He understood what I was trying to achieve, and worked to no end trying to achieve it. Listening to the music Gareth produced, I hear things I didn't know I wanted and found myself wondering how the project could ever manage without. It is really special when somebody can bring their own style and ideas to a project without changing the Directors vision... One of the traits Gareth has mastered. Gareth has such a range of talents making his music fitting for all genres. It has been such a pleasure collaborating with Gareth Thomas Music. Looking forward to working with him again."
Edward Midgley/ BowTie Productions
"Working with Gareth was an absolute pleasure; quick, creative and adaptable to feedback. Under a open brief we were able to work together to create a piece of work that far surpassed the outline and impressed the BBC enough to show it during their programme "Football Focus". I look forward to a long creative partnership with Gareth Thomas."
Simon Bartlett / Director, Producer
"Gareth was a pleasure to work with. He made the scoring process for my feature film fun, exciting and extremely easy. Above all, I was really impressed with the speed and quality of work Gareth showcased. It's not everyday you find an artist who is genuinely excited about what he does and is willing to work as tirelessly as Gareth to please his client(s). His passion for music is evident in his work and there's nothing more refreshing as an artist than to work with another artist who is just as passionate about their craft. He didn't treat our experience as just another gig. He took the time to learn about the project so he could produce the right music for this project. I look forward to creating more with Gareth again in the near future."

"It was fantastic news for us when Gareth applied for the post of Musical Director at our Theatre Company as we were about to stage our biggest musical yet, Miss Saigon. Gareth had been a student for many years with our company so we knew we were gaining fantastic talent when he returned. Gareth is naturally a great musician and more so a fantastic teacher. Leading 60 young people through a difficult musical is no easy task. Gareth makes the job look effortless. In our opinion there is no person better equipped to hand the show over to during production week. We hope Gareth continues to hold the baton for Neath A.O.S Youth Theatre for many years to come."
Zoe Richards/ Theatre Director
"I have had the pleasure of working with Gareth over the last few years. His professionalism and outstanding level of musicianship I admire greatly- he is a rare find."
